Healthyish Brand Launches New SKINNY CAKE – ONLY 2G Sugar and 210 Calories

With the holiday season in full swing it can be challenging to hold back on all of the homemade, nostalgic foods. Cheesy potatoes, handmade pastas, charcuterie boards, you get the idea. And while I’m a HUGE believer that everything in moderation is healthy, sometimes that gnocchi can still get the best of me.

This is precisely why we decided to develop the new Healthyish Skinny Cake. The Skinny Cake is made of all organic ingredients and is perfectly portioned for one person. It only has 2G of sugar and is 210 calories once baked. And if you bake it with our applesauce recipe, it is only 110 calories. This comes in handy when you’re looking to curb your sweet tooth without the side of guilt.

As an alternative way to enjoy your Healthyish baking kit, try baking the Skinny Cake for breakfast. Yes, cake for breakfast is acceptable, especially when you see the nutritional information. Recently, I added ripe blueberries to the Skinny Cake batter before baking and mixed in some raw sliced almonds from my baking kit. The total breakfast cake with berries and almonds comes in at 258 calories and only 3.35 grams sugar  – and only 158 calories if you use the applesauce version. And the best part is that it tastes AMAZING. Baking instructions below.

Healthyish Skinny Cake This breakfast cake only took me 15 minutes to bake. (2 minutes to prepare and 13 minutes to bake in the oven.)  Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

What You’ll Need:

Organic Skinny Cake Mix

Organic Raw Almonds

1 Tablespoon of melted Unsalted butter

2 Tablespoons of 2% milk

10 blueberries

Baking Instructions:

  • Grab 1 pouch of the Healthyish Skinny Cake mix from your Healthyish baking kit. Tear it open and add it to a small cereal bowl.
  • Next you will add in 1 Tablespoon of melted unsalted butter and 2 Tablespoons of 2% milk. Mix batter.
  • Next you will add in about half of your blueberries. Save the other half for the top of the cake once it is baked. (optional) Add in some of your sliced almonds and mix everything together.
  • Add batter to your unbleached paper baking cup. (comes with the kit) and place in the oven at 350 degrees for 12 – 14 minutes.
